Kara Neuman-Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theater

Kara began her dance training at the age of 2. She has trained at many studios throughout the greater Seattle area including Studio 1, Kirkland Dance Center, and Elizabeth's Dance Dimensions. She also won many high score awards for her energy and stage presence. Kara was very privileged to perform at Disneyland as a part of the Studio 1 competition team, as well as being hired to perform as a tapping Santa with the Seattle and Indianapolis symphonies in "A Yuletide Celebration" for two consecutive years. She has trained with many amazing dancers and choreographers such as Greg Russel, Diane Walker, Lane Alexander, Mandy Moore, and Stacey Tookey. Kara began teaching at the age of 15 at Kirkland Dance Center and has taught at multiple studios in the greater Seattle area including Sky Valley Dance Center, The Monroe Dance Center, and the Snohomish county YMCA. Kara continues her dance training through local dance workshops and master classes. Kara is very excited and honored to be part of the Studio 1 family and cannot wait to see her students learn and grow.
