Erica Olavarria-Tap

Erica Olavarria has been dancing since the age of three. She was a member of the Studio 1 Competition Team, under the direction of Beth Ith, for seven years and she won many high score awards and scholarships at dance competitions and conventions. Erica has been involved in several local dance performances, including Sign of the Times and En L'air. More recently, Erica has taught and subbed at several dance studios in the greater Seattle and Oklahoma City areas. Erica studied for two years under the esteemed dance faculty at Oklahoma City University. In 2011, Erica founded the OCU Tap Club and served as its president during the 2011-2012 year. Additionally, Erica served as the assistant to Beth Ith during tap workshop classes at Dance Educators of America. Having recently graduated from Oklahoma City University, Erica is again residing on the Eastside and is excited to have the opportunity to teach at her home studio!
